Kànesh Jayasinghe is a Partner at FCLLP. Having been engaged in the provision of advisory services for nearly 10 years, Kànesh is experienced in transaction and strategy-related consultation such as business valuation and modeling, financial due diligence, Mergers and Acquisitions, and corporate re-structuring.

Kànesh began his career at Ernst and Young and worked in both Sri Lanka and Maldives offices. His experience includes different service lines exposures such as Transaction and Strategy, Valuation and business Modeling, Audit and Assurance, and GRI Sustainability reporting.

His experience in the commercial sector covers working as a Chief Financial Officer of a listed entity with a record of handling an IPO listed entity as an SPV investment model in the Maldives Stock Exchange.

Kànesh acts as Managing Director of Dilottra Capital which specializes in private equity fund management and banking advisory services for both domestic and international financial institutions. He serves as credit monitoring advisor capacity for the largest two banks in Sri Lanka namely Bank of Ceylon and People’s Bank in addition to private sector banks. Further, he serves as an independent advisor for Mitsubishi Corporation-Japan (Regional branch) and closely works with international banks such as Doha Bank for money market transactions. He serves as an official money market consultant to Bank of Maldives PLC.

Further, he serves as a fund facilitation consultant to Government institutions in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. He acts as an advisor to the state minister for money, capital market, and enterprise reforms in Sri Lanka through the “Enterprise Development Advisory Council”, and has undertaken the responsibility of coordinating banking and global venture capital pools.

Kànesh holds a B.Sc. Finance (Special)(Hons) degree in financial management and instruments from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka. He is currently reading for membership of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (UK).
